AFRICAN FAMILY LIFE DELEGATE CONFERENCE
In 2017, we pioneered the Africa Family Life Delegate Summit, marking a historic gathering at the Sheba Event Center. The summit convened over 1,500 delegates from Nigeria and beyond, featuring esteemed guests such as the Executive Governor of LagosState (represented by the Honorable Commissioner for Women Affairs), the Country Director of the United Nations Information Center, and the representative of the First Lady of Lagos. Since.
The African Family Life Delegate Conference (AFLDC) has served as a vital annual gathering committed to strengthening African families, bridging generational divides, and reclaiming the richness of African culture in modern society. Held each year on May 15th, AFLDC has become a thought-leadership hub and action-driven platform for dialogue, cultural reflection, and solution-sharing among family life professionals and community influencers across the globe.
Over the past nine years, AFLDC has directly impacted over 7,000 participants, including family life coaches, counselors, educators, religious leaders, parents, students, and corporate professionals. With representation from diverse faiths, cultural backgrounds, and geographies, the conference continues to unite both traditionalists and modern thinkers in the family life space—locally and internationally.
The conference was a revelation. I left with a wealth of practical tools and a renewed sense of purpose in my work. I look forward to the next conference
- Dr Shola Adeyemi
I attended the conference with my wife, not knowing what to expect. We were both deeply moved by the stories and the sense of community. It reignited the spark in our marriage
- Tiamiyu Aberuagba
The wisdom shared by the speakers resonated deeply with my own experiences. It was like a lightbulb moment – so many things I'd observed in families I work with suddenly clicked into place. Honestly, I wish I heard about this conference earlier!

INTRODUCING
AFRICAN FAMILY LIFE DELEGATE CONFERENCE 2026
BRIDGES NOT BORDERS — Restoring African Families, Healing the World
Â
In a time when division and disconnection seem to define our world, this year’s theme, “Bridges Not Borders — Restoring African Families, Healing the World,” calls us back to our shared humanity.
From Lagos to Lusaka, Nairobi to New York, the African family stands as a living bridge, uniting generations, cultures, and nations. But too often, that bridge has been weakened by broken values, fading traditions, and widening emotional gaps.
This movement is about rebuilding those bridges, between parents and children, men and women, generations and nations, so that love, wisdom, and purpose can flow freely again.
Join us as we explore how the strength of the African family can become a model for global healing and unity.
Together, we can restore families. Heal hearts. And rebuild a world that remembers, every strong nation begins at home.
